The rates Planaroo uses
Resident tax rates for 2026-27: nothing on the first $18,200, then 15% to $45,000, 30% to $135,000, 37% to $190,000 and 45% above that. The low income tax offset takes up to $700 off, falling away between $37,500 and $66,667. The Medicare levy is 2%, with the low-income reduction using the latest published thresholds (2025-26: $28,011 to $35,013).

Each row below was worked out by hand from those rates, then checked against what the app shows for the same wage. They match. Figures are rounded to the dollar.
