What Planaroo will not do.

Four things that stay true, and a dated list of what has changed.

What Planaroo will not do

Keeping it up to date

Tax rates change every July. When the ATO publishes the new rates, Planaroo is updated and checked against them before they take effect, and the change is listed below. If a rate or threshold is ever wrong, tell us and it will be fixed and listed here.

What has changed

Plan and growth rings

11 October 2026

A seven-step plan on the Home screen, an opt-in days board that shows days and never dollars, and a shareable growth ring picture that shows no money at all.

Locked backup

11 October 2026

An optional backup that is locked on your phone with a recovery word only you know, so a lost or wiped phone can restore itself and we still cannot read it.

Payday reminders and the payday fill

10 October 2026

One opt-in notification on payday, a hold-to-fill screen for each bill, streaks with a free pass, and a safe-to-spend figure for today.

Fixes

10 October 2026

Business access codes are now checked on the server. A damaged backup file can no longer break the app. Long names no longer push the screen sideways, and very large amounts and dates are caught with a clear message.
